CEC

System

The CEC system is designed to ensure that KIPA-certified instructors extend their certification validity through ongoing education and professional development. We encourage all instructors to embrace lifelong learning, enhancing their skills and knowledge to provide the best possible experience for their students.

Staying engaged with the CEC system not only strengthens your credentials but also contributes to your growth as an educator.

Let's commit to continuous improvement together!

How to Maintain
the CEC status?

To maintain your certification, a minimum of 6 Continuing Education Credits (CECs) is required each year.

You can earn CECs attending workshops held by KIPA, each hour of participation for the workshop equals 1 credit.

Private classes with KIPA trainers (where 2 hours equals 1 credit), or participating in a KIPA Review Session, which is 5 hours long.

Make sure to complete your CECs within the same to stay certified for the following year.
